Abby's Delight quilt pattern by Franklin Quilt Company was designed with a method to eliminate cutting triangles and sewing on the bias. This scrap friendly pattern is the perfect way to use leftover strips or mini squares from other projects. It is also ideal for featuring a favorite line of fabric as a "planned scrappy" project. Directions are given for making background string blocks, or the background can be made using a single fabric.  In addition, it utilizes a feature fabric to tie the fabrics together.

Each 8" block can be arranged in the barn raising layout as directed in the pattern, or they can be rotated and changed to give the quilt a different look. The pattern includes cutting instructions and estimated fabric yardage for 3 sizes of quilts:

 Lap 58" x 74"
Queen 74" x 90"
King 90" x 106"
